Staff and volunteers from the Blackpool Beach Patrol Team were invited to take part in a creative consultation session with Laurence Payot, to help design ‘The Making of a New Contemporary Mermaid’, a new permanent public artwork commissioned by Blackpool Corridors to be installed by the North Pier in mid-2020.
