For the World Record Exhibition curated by Red Wire at Wolstenholme Square, Laurence Payot beat the British school boy Joe Allison who managed to balance 16 spoons on his face. Using photography as the documentation of a false record, Laurence makes us doubt about the authenticity of her act, and questions the honesty of photography.

Laurence explores the way in which images spread and become part of our common knowledge even through they may turn out to be fake.
